Out of all the people in the world, you two were somehow brought together. How incredible is that?! Yet, it’s something so easily taken for granted. That’s why I love photographs. They make us slow down and reflect on a moment and recognize how truly beautiful it is/was. That is, if we let them.

MY WHY

Growing up as a shy kid, I was more of an observer, less of a participant. Not simply observing, but really taking in all of my surroundings…facial expressions, body movements (it’s not as creepy as it sounds I promise). It wasn’t until I found photography that I saw it as a useful skill though.

 In an industry where images are far more powerful than words, it’s imperative that I be able to pick up on the tiny details. They’re far more important than we sometimes realize in the midst of all the excitement and chaos a wedding day can bring. 

My goal will always be to capture your day in a way that is true to you and the vision you’ve created while also capturing those raw in between moments.The shy kid inside of me is geeking out just thinking about it.
