This sessions was so good for my soul.
For starters, it was in Hawaii. Need I say more?? We were surrounded by mountains and the Pacific Ocean. I still can’t believe people like Josh and Lars get to call this place home.
Speaking of Josh and Lars, they were an absolute dream to shoot. I don’t know many people who would jump in and out of the ocean for a couple hours, freeze their butts off, and then roll around in the sand just for fun. And have smiles on their faces the whole time! Their love for each other was so apparent, but I wouldn’t have expected anything less after hearing their story.
Josh spent months trying to convince Lars to go on a date with him. There was no looking back once he did! Four years ago her proposed in New Zealand and now they’re living the dream as a husband and wife photo/video team. I don’t know if there’s anything better than getting to spend everyday doing what you love with you love!
Josh and Lars, thank you for being absolute rockstars and reminding me of a couple things:
1. Persistence and patience are key
2. Find joy in all things…even if you’re freezing on the beach 😉
